I had the privilege recently of creating a henna crown for Kristina. She chose to have the Tree of Life and caterpillar/butterfly life cycle motifs included in her design. She loved the design and experience, and said it made her feel beautiful and strong. Thank you for the opportunity to work with you, Kristina!

Good afternoon from the white world of Minnesota (finally).
This time of year is slow for body art. And to be honest, I like the shift to slower flow with the occasional appointment or event to work. I enjoy shifting focus to family and winter. This is just a quick check-in to remind everyone that I'm here and available to adorn you! After experimenting with shared studio space for 14 months, Jo and I had to make the hard decision to let the space go. Although it was very nice to welcome clients and fellow henna enthusiasts alike into the space, we both are now at life stages where it’s no longer ideal to maintain a studio outside our homes. I want to thank everyone who supported us there as client and/or friend. We were so happy to share the space with you!!!
Now if you would like to get a hand design from me, I will meet you at the nearby Caribou Coffee. If you wish to receive adornment that requires privacy, I will be taking a few clients in my home henna space. I so look forward to adorning you again soon! We are currently taking appointments for our Galentine’s Henna Event at our studio this weekend. 4124 Quebec Avenue North, Suite 202 in New Hope. Bring a friend or come solo, we would love to adorn you ❣️
I have big news!!! I’m so excited to let you know that I am partnering with an amazing artist, human and friend, Jo of Artfully Empowered, and together we are renting space in New Hope to be our art studio, henna studio and space for other healing modalities that Jo offers, such as cranio sacral therapy. We are currently moving in and setting up, but we will be very happy to welcome you for your adornment needs!
Happy July! This month I hosted a henna gathering in my backyard and was treated to these lovely feet--Thanks, Victoria!! Thanks to everyone who came to share henna and a potluck, and some lovely wet weather. It was actually very fun and so good to see everyone! July and August are very busy henna months for me. I joined Victoria at the Cannon Valley Fair and Eagan Funfest, there were brides and their guests to adorn, I have Lumberjack Days in Stillwater, and appointments, and private parties, and still two county fairs to do, Olmsted in Rochester and Steele County in Owatonna, with a family vacation in the middle. So this moment in the hammock recuperating from the hullabaloo was a welcome one! In the shade when there's a pleasant breeze going, summer is truly magnificent. As long as the bugs aren't biting :). I hope you're having a beautiful summer, and look forward to having henna time with you soon! |
